Half Baked Cookies is a home bakery that takes pride in crafting the best cookies you can find in Kawartha Lakes. These aren’t your average cookies. Constantly experimenting and trying new flavours, Jess takes cookies to the next level with creations from Crunch Bar to Cinnanmon Toast Crunch and everything in between.
From the very beginning, we knew the brand needed to feel bold, fun and colourful, just like the cookies. We wanted to recreate the excitement of opening a box of cookies. We started by designing the visual identity, combining vibrant colours with playful accents to evoke a sense of wonder. Like the kind a child feels looking at a candy bar wrapper. For the typography, we priotized readibility, while still maintaining the brand’s character through a bold, clean type. The final result was a brand that feels bold, fun and exciting — a cookie-filled oasis in an often dark world.
When it came time for the website design, we focused on simplicity paired with an intuitive user experience, andsprinkled with the brand’s bright personality through accents and playful interactions. We avoided over-designing, allowing the product images to speak for themselves. The final feels unmistakeabley authentic to the brand, while making it easy for customers to browse the different products available, and mix and match their favourite flavours to create and order their cutom cookie box.
